Publication Frequency

Transformative Law Review is published regularly to ensure the continuous dissemination of high-quality scholarly works in the fields of Islamic studies, education, law, communication, and social-religious research.

The journal is issued twice a year (biannually), with two regular issue periods:

  • January – June (Issue 1)
  • July – December (Issue 2)

Although the journal has two regular issue periods each year, Transformative Law Review applies a continuous publication model within each biannual issue. This means that accepted articles may be published online progressively as soon as they have completed the editorial process, peer review, revision, copyediting, layout editing, proofreading, and final approval by the editor.

Continuous Publication within Regular Issues
Issue 1 Articles accepted between January and June may be published progressively within the January–June issue once they are ready for publication.
Issue 2 Articles accepted between July and December may be published progressively within the July–December issue once they are ready for publication.
Publication Timing Once an article has completed all editorial and production stages, it may be published immediately in the relevant issue period without waiting until the end of June or December.
Editorial Process The editorial and peer-review process normally takes approximately three months, depending on the quality of the manuscript, reviewer availability, revision process, and editorial decision. The journal does not guarantee acceptance or a fixed review duration.

This continuous publication model is applied to reduce unnecessary publication delays, accelerate the dissemination of scholarly findings, and provide timely access to accepted articles while maintaining the journal’s regular biannual publication structure. Each article remains assigned to a specific volume and issue according to the relevant publication period.

Each issue contains a selection of peer-reviewed research articles, conceptual studies, and critical reviews that contribute to ongoing academic discussions in Islamic and social sciences.

The editorial team of Transformative Law Review may also publish special issues on emerging themes, contemporary topics, or interdisciplinary studies relevant to Islamic thought, education, and community development.

Note: The publication schedule may be adjusted for special editions, thematic issues, or collaborations with academic institutions and scholarly forums. All published content is made available in open-access format immediately upon release.
