Journal Focus

Pakungwati Law Review (PLR) is a peer-reviewed academic journal devoted to the advancement of critical and interdisciplinary scholarship in law and legal studies. It provides an inclusive forum for scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to examine contemporary legal questions and the changing relationship between law, society, justice, and social transformation.

PLR publishes theoretically informed and methodologically rigorous research on legal developments in Indonesia and other jurisdictions. The journal particularly welcomes studies that connect legal doctrine with social realities, promote dialogue among legal traditions, or offer comparative and transnational perspectives on current challenges in law and justice.
