Publication Schedule

The Journal of Transformative Islamic Law (JTIL) is published twice a year. Each annual volume consists of two regular issues: Issue No. 1 covers the January–June publication period, while Issue No. 2 covers the July–December publication period.

January–June

The first issue of each annual volume publishes scholarly articles accepted and scheduled for the first half of the year.

July–December

The second issue of each annual volume publishes scholarly articles accepted and scheduled for the second half of the year.

Principal Themes Islamic law, religious law, state law, legal pluralism, comparative law, legal reform, and interdisciplinary studies concerning the relationship between law, religion, society, and social transformation.
Editorial Scheduling

The number of articles published in each issue may be adjusted by the editorial team according to manuscript quality, the availability of accepted articles, thematic considerations, and the journal’s publication planning. Only manuscripts that have successfully completed the editorial and peer-review processes are scheduled for publication.
